epa01925607 Monks queue up to welcome Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama (unseen), during his visit to the Tawang Monastery in Tawang city, Arunachal Pradesh, northeast India, 08 November 2009. The Dalai Lama, the Tibet's exiled leader is on a five-day long visit to Tawang situated at the Indo-China International border in Arunachal Pradesh starting from 08 November 2009. China has raked up a controversy by asking India not to allow the Tibetan spiritual leader to visit Arunachal Pradesh. New Delhi has refused to bow to the Chinese demand. India and China fought a war in the year 1962, with Chinese troops advancing deep into Arunachal Pradesh and inflicting heavy casualties on Indian troops. China has never recognised the 1914 McMahon Line and claims 90,000 sq km, nearly all of Arunachal Pradesh. EPA/STR < 뉴스의 새 시대, 연합뉴스 Live > < 연합뉴스폰 > < 포토 매거진 > < 저작권자(c)연합뉴스. 무단전재-재배포금지. >
